Badlands: Day 2

Today was day 2 exploring the Badlands. We can't put enough emphasis on how beautiful the Badlands really are. Speechless, just speechless...

We woke up early and started off with a mile hike up some steep inclinations and made our way out to a beautiful over look within the clay masses. After a quick trip to the gift shop we made our way to the second hike of the day. A 4.2 mile trek through the rocks, grasslands, mud, and almost desert like conditions. We started with a steep climb going straight up the Agrocrag from Nickelodeons G.U.T.S, then made our way through the grassy plains, after it turned into a feeling like we were walking on Mars (because we have both explored the red planet before). After our full day of hiking we set off to eye hunt bison, antelope, deer, and prairie dogs!

We made our way to Rapid City, SD to bunk for the night and enjoyed a nice dinner at the Firehouse Brewery which was once an old firehouse now turned into a restaurant! Enjoy the pictures...
