Everything's Bigger in Texas

We arrived in Arlington, Texas on last Tuesday and stayed with Tyler's Aunt Marianne. The first night we found last minute tickets to the Dallas Mavericks basketball game in which they were playing rival Texan team the Houston Rockets. So cool! The next day we explored Arlington, which included a third celebrity encounter. While in the new Dallas Cowboy's Stadium we met and received an autograph from former Dallas Cowboy tightend Billy Joe Dupree. During the day we explored Joe Pool Lake where we met some interesting carp fish. That night we went into Fort Worth and visited Billy Bob's bar and concert hall, a famous pit stop among country western musicians.

  5. I'm sooooo jealous I miss Texas, your dad says you really like Austin (I new you would) did you get down to 6th Street and the Blues Bars? You HAVE to get a "Big Red" and think of me while you're drinking it, it is my favorite soft drink.

On your way to San Antonio you'll go through San Marcus, that's where Jim went to College and it is a pretty little town (used to be anyway).

Have you had barbeque and Mexican Food yet?
